It’s August 2011 and Airbnb is in crisis after a SF host’s apartment was ransacked. We knew we needed to speak with actions, not just words.

So over a hellacious 14 day period we pushed out over 40 new products and services focused on trust and safety. A key component of this strategy was www.airbnb.com/safety, a microsite dedicated to all things trust and safety of the airbnb platform and a home to chronicle our 14 day sprint. I was the marketing point person for all safety center content, product copy, and social media. I also developed and launched a beta address verification program in 3 countries during the two week sprint.
